{"id":278,"date":"2024-10-09T06:18:17","date_gmt":"2024-10-09T06:18:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.incluverso-5g.es\/?p=278"},"modified":"2024-12-19T14:38:02","modified_gmt":"2024-12-19T14:38:02","slug":"vrst24","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.incluverso-5g.es\/?p=278","title":{"rendered":"VRST24: Testing 360-Degree Video Communication in a Debate Training between Teens: An Exploratory Field Study"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Ester Gonz\u00e1lez Sosa<\/strong>, Research Engineer especializada en Machine Learning del eXtended Reality Lab (XR Lab) de Nokia, present\u00f3 el art\u00edculo de investigaci\u00f3n titulado \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/dl.acm.org\/doi\/abs\/10.1145\/3641825.3689508\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Testing 360-Degree Video Communication in a Debate Training between Teens: An Exploratory Field Study\u201d<\/a> en la 30 edici\u00f3n del congreso internacional <a href=\"https:\/\/vrst.hosting.acm.org\/vrst2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Virtual Reality Software and Technology<\/a>, celebrado en la ciudad alemana de Tr\u00e9veris, durante los d\u00edas del 9 al 11 de Octubre.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este congreso re\u00fane a alrededor de 200 cient\u00edficos de todas las partes del mundo, para compartir los \u00faltimos avances y evidencias cient\u00edficas en el mundo de la realidad virtual (VR) y la interacci\u00f3n persona m\u00e1quina (HCI), lo que facilit\u00f3 que la ponencia tuviera buena acogida e inter\u00e9s en el congreso.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"964\" height=\"1280\" src=\"http:\/\/www.incluverso-5g.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/VRST24-Foto-Ester.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-280\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde el proyecto INCLUVERSO 5G, se present\u00f3 el mencionado art\u00edculo en formato p\u00f3ster donde se presentaban los resultados obtenidos tras probar la tecnolog\u00eda de teleportaci\u00f3n de Nokia XR Lab, el \u201cOwl\u201d, en el entorno educativo del Colegio Base International School. Concretamente, se adapt\u00f3 esta tecnolog\u00eda para llevar a cabo una actividad centrada en mejorar las habilidades de oratoria a trav\u00e9s de debates. Se plantearon cuatro debates en los que se permiti\u00f3 a todos\/as los\/as estudiantes participar del mismo de manera remota. Las conclusiones y resultados obtenidos son utilizados para mejorar el desarrollo de la tecnolog\u00eda.
